Read Nehemiah 2:11-20. Ask the Lord to speak to you through the passage.

Consider the Faith Principles from the passage and pray about them.

Faith Principle #1
You must realistically examine and understand the problem.

Take some time to reflect on the broken wall in your life, your marriage, your family and the church. Ask the Lord to help you to understand the problem.

Faith Principle #2
You don't have to reveal your intentions to everyone.

Ask the Lord to give you discernment about addressing the problem.

Faith Principle #3
You have to admit and own the reality of your problem.

Ask the Lord to help to admit and own the reality of the broken walls in your life, your marriage, your family and the church.

Faith Principle #4
Faith rests in God's past faithfulness in your life.

Reflect upon God’s faithfulness in your past. Allow that past faithfulness to strengthen your faith as you speak with the Lord about your broken walls.

Faith Principle #5
Faith looks past the opposition and puts its trust in God.

Ask the Lord to help you to look past the opposition to rebuilding the broken walls in your life, your marriage, your family and the church.
