Read Nehemiah 5:1-19. Ask the Lord to speak to you through the passage.

Consider the Faith Principles from the passage and pray about them.

Faith Principle #1
Faith produces an anger towards the sin in our lives.

Ponder the sin in your life. How is it affecting the rebuilding the walls in your life, your marriage, your family and the church? Ask the Lord to hate the sin that has ensnared you.

Faith Principle #2
Faith guides your life to have a healthy fear of God.

How would you describe your view of God? Do you fear God when it comes to the sin in your life? Ask the Lord to help you to have a healthy fear of him.

Faith Principle #3
Faith does not make demands for the sake of others.

When you think about the efforts that you are making to rebuild the walls in your life, your marriage, your family and the church, do you feel that you have certain rights or have certain demands that you feel deserved attention? Ask the Lord to help you to humble yourself and not make demands of other people.
