Consider the Faith Principles from the passage and pray about them.

Faith Principle #1
The basis of faith is the receiving of God’s word.

As you seek to maintain the walls in your life, your marriage, your family and the church, have you made the reading of the Bible a priority in your life each day? Ask the Lord to create in you an unquenchable desire for God’s word and to prepare you daily to receive it each day.

Faith Principle #2
Faith is strengthened with an understanding of God’s word.

Is your life being strengthened by your understanding of God’s word? Ask the Lord to help you to understand his word and to seek help from others when needed.

Faith Principle #3
Faith responds with the confession of sin and obedience.

How do you respond when the reading of God’s word produces the conviction of sin in your life? Ask the Lord to help you to confess any sin that he reveals in your life and respond to his word with obedience.
